1 - Nélson de Carvalho Gomes
Birthdate: 1st May 1995
Illness: Cerebral palsy
Nélson was prematurely born at 6 months of pregnancy. He is being treated at ABBR and goes to school. His mum has a high school degree but cannot work because of Nélson's treatment. His father works doing odd jobs as a painter and assistant mason. His family lives at the paternal grandparents' house.

2 - Felipe Carvalho Costa
Birthdate: 27th August, 1999
Illness: Cerebral palsy
Felipe does not have a father. He lives in his grandmother's house with his mum and his 4 year old brother. He undergoes physiotherapy sessions 3 times per week. He cannot sit alone and cannot crawl. His mum is finishing a manicurist course at Renascer and will begin a hairdresser course.

3 - Tais Tatiane Pereira de Moura Borges
Birthdate: 9th April, 1992
Illness: Dysrhythmia
Her father works doing odd jobs and her mum is unemployed and is taking classes at Renascer to become a hairdresser. Tais has been taking anti-convulsion medication for the last 3 years. She is in 2nd grade at school. Renascer is helping her family to build a new house because the house where they used to live collapsed during a rain storm.

4 - Késsia Almeida Araujo
Birthdate: 31st January 1997
Illness: Flaccid paralysis.
She does not have neurological problems. Her stepfather works doing odd jobs and her mum is studying at Renascer to become a manicurist. They live at the paternal grandparents' house.
