Parents' Representatives:
President:
Chairs PTA Meetings and represents the PTA to the School. The president is invited to all School Board Meetings.
Treasurer:
Responsible for PTA's budget and bank accounts.
Secretary:
Responsible for keeping the minutes of the PTA Meetings.
Sub-Committees:
After School Activities: Selects after school activities and communicates with teachers and parents.
Catering: Deals with questions or suggestions about meals served in school.
Charity: Assists with coordinating charity projects and helps with the distribution of donations from the pupils, parents and teachers.
Company Liaison: Responsible for gathering sponsorships and support from companies for the PTA's main social events.
Discussion Meetings: Organises monthly meetings to discuss issues of educational importance.
Events: Responsible for organising the traditional PTA events.
Newcomers: Welcomes and provides information to new parents and organises special New Parent events.
News: Responsible for keeping the parents informed about the PTA activities and events and for updating the PTA Website.
Parents-School Liaison: Responsible for improving communication between parents, students and the school. It also receives complaints and suggestions from parents, takes them to the school administration and tries to find a solution.
Urca: Represents the Senior School interests at the PTA meetings.
Teachers' Representatives:
Nursery, Lower Primary and Senior School:
Apart from bringing the teachers' perspectives of the school to meetings, the teaching members of the PTA organise the staff's contributions to PTA events.
Headmaster's Representative:
Acts as the official contact with the School's administration, performing all manner of tasks from conveying ideas to and from the Headmaster, to booking meeting rooms and liaising with members of staff.
